Basic force of Nature


Man is trying hid best to know each and everything about fundamental block of which the metter is

composed of and also about the basic forced which are responsible of working of different systems.

The basic forces are i.e,

1.   Gravitational force

2.   Magnetic force

3.   Electric force

4.   Weak nuclear force

5.   The strong force

Unification of Electric and Magnetic Force

Faraddy and maxwell  unified electric magnetic  force,leaving behind for fundamental forces i.e.,

electromagnetic force and weak nuclear force.

1. Strong Nuclear force
                                        It is a short range forces and keep nucleus stable

2. Electromagnetic Force
                                     
                                        It is a long range force . It cause chemical reaction, bind all atoms,

molecules, crystal, tree, building and you. Friction, Cohesion, Adhesion are due to this force.

3. Weak nuclear force   
                                       The weak nuclear force are short range forces and are responsible of

spontaneous break up of radioactive element. It is a sort of a repulsive force of very short range.

It is usually masked by the effect of strong and electromagnetic force inside the nuclei.

4.  Gravitational force
                                       It is a long range force extending up to and beyond the remotest stars and

galaxies. It keeps you, the atmosphere  and sea fixed on the surface of earth. It gives rise to ocean

tides and forces the earth to orbit around the sun.

Unification of Electromagnetic and weak force 

Scientist continued their effort for unification of of 100 year after the unification of electric and

magnetic force. In 1979, Glashow, Weinberg, Abdus Salam Unified electromagnetic  and weak force

and won the Noble Prize in Physics. Efforts are on further unification i.e., grand unification.
